Quick answer
What do Azure consulting services include?
Azure consulting services for automation and AI include building Logic Apps and Azure Functions workflows, Azure Data Factory data pipelines, and Azure OpenAI assistants connected to SharePoint, Dynamics 365 and other systems. The work is deployed in your own tenant with Entra ID access, Key Vault secrets and infrastructure as code.
- Azure fits companies already running Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 or Power BI.
- Azure OpenAI runs OpenAI models inside your subscription with your own access controls.
- Logic Apps suits IT-governed integrations; Power Automate suits team-level flows.
- Fixed quote after a free review, with first workflows typically live in 2-4 weeks.
01
What our Azure consulting services cover
We focus on what runs on top of Azure, not the infrastructure under it. We do not migrate data centers or manage your virtual machines. We build the integrations, pipelines and AI features that connect Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, ERP systems and line-of-business apps.
For many companies Azure is already approved, already connected to Entra ID and already on the invoice. That makes it the natural home for new automation and AI work, because security review and identity are mostly solved.
- Integration and workflow automation with Logic Apps and Azure Functions
- Data pipelines with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL and Data Lake Storage
- Generative AI with Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search
- Document extraction with Azure AI Document Intelligence
- Reporting in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric on Azure data
02
Azure OpenAI and AI applications
Azure OpenAI gives access to OpenAI models such as GPT-4o and newer releases within Azure, governed by your subscription, network rules and Entra ID access. It is now managed through Azure AI Foundry, which also hosts other model families and agent tooling.
We build retrieval-based assistants that answer questions from SharePoint, Teams files or policy libraries using Azure AI Search, with citations so users can check the source. We also build agents that call internal APIs, read from Dataverse or Dynamics, and draft responses for human approval. Content filters, logging to Azure Monitor and role-based access are part of every build.
WHAT WE BUILD
What we automate
Typical automations, each scoped and quoted at a fixed price after a free review.
SharePoint policy assistant
Azure AI Search indexes SharePoint libraries and Azure OpenAI answers staff questions in Teams with links to the source document.
Invoice capture to ERP
Invoices arriving in a shared mailbox are read by Document Intelligence, matched to purchase orders, and posted to Dynamics 365 or SAP via Logic Apps.
On-premises data to the cloud
Azure Data Factory with a self-hosted integration runtime copies SQL Server or Oracle data nightly into Data Lake Storage for reporting.
Ticket summarization and routing
New ServiceNow or Dynamics cases are summarized and categorized by Azure OpenAI, then routed to the right queue with a suggested reply.
Supplier and customer onboarding
A Logic Apps workflow collects documents, runs checks, requests approval in Teams and creates records in the ERP once approved.
Pipeline failure alerts
Azure Monitor alerts notify the owning team in Teams or email when a Data Factory pipeline or Logic App run fails.
03
Azure Data Factory pipelines
Azure Data Factory is Azure's managed service for moving and transforming data. It has connectors for SAP, Oracle, SQL Server, Salesforce, Dynamics and many SaaS tools, and a self-hosted integration runtime for reaching on-premises systems behind your firewall.
We design pipelines that load raw data into Data Lake Storage or Azure SQL, apply transformations with mapping data flows, SQL or Databricks, and feed Power BI or downstream apps. Monitoring, retries and alerts are configured so failures reach the right person rather than surfacing as a wrong number in a board report. If you are moving toward Microsoft Fabric, we design with that path in mind.
04
Logic Apps and Azure Functions automation
Logic Apps is Azure's low-code workflow engine, with hundreds of connectors to Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, Salesforce, SAP and SFTP. It suits integrations that IT wants to govern centrally, with managed identities, versioned deployments and run history for every execution.
When logic gets complex or performance matters, we use Azure Functions for custom code in Python or C#. Power Automate still has a place for team-level flows, and we will say plainly when a flow belongs there instead of Logic Apps.
05
Working with an Azure consultant in an enterprise
An Azure consultant in a mid-size or large company has to work inside existing governance. We deploy with Bicep or Terraform through Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, use managed identities instead of stored passwords, and keep secrets in Key Vault.
We follow your landing zone, naming, tagging and Azure Policy rules, and work within your change control and vendor security review. As one example from our case studies, a European procurement firm working on nuclear infrastructure saved about 30 hours a month with a supplier intelligence tool built on automated data collection and AI summaries.
- Entra ID single sign-on and role-based access
- Private endpoints and network rules where your policy requires them
- Audit trails through Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and run history
- Documentation and handover sessions for your IT team
06
Azure vs AWS vs Google Cloud for automation and AI
Azure is usually the best fit if you run Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 or Power BI, because identity, licensing and connectors line up. Azure OpenAI is also the most direct enterprise route to OpenAI models.
AWS offers a wide serverless toolkit and many model providers through Bedrock. Google Cloud leads on serverless analytics with BigQuery and on Gemini through Vertex AI. We build on all three and recommend based on the stack you already have.
07
What Azure consulting costs
We quote a fixed price after a free review of the process, systems and security requirements. A single Logic App or Azure OpenAI workflow typically ships in 2-4 weeks, and data platform programs are delivered in stages over 4-8 weeks.
Azure consumption is billed by Microsoft to your subscription. We estimate running costs during design and set budgets and cost alerts in Azure Cost Management.

FAQ
Azure Consulting questions
What do Azure consulting services include?
Our Azure consulting services cover automation, data pipelines and AI built in your Azure tenant. That includes Logic Apps and Functions workflows, Azure Data Factory pipelines, Azure OpenAI assistants and Power BI reporting. We do not offer general hosting or infrastructure management.
How much does an Azure consultant cost?
We give a fixed quote after a free review instead of hourly billing. Cost depends on the systems involved, data volumes and security requirements. Azure consumption is billed separately by Microsoft.
What is the difference between Azure OpenAI and ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is OpenAI's consumer and business app. Azure OpenAI provides OpenAI models as a service inside your Azure subscription, with your network controls, Entra ID access and logging, so you can build them into your own applications and workflows.
Should we use Logic Apps or Power Automate?
Power Automate fits team-level flows that business users build and own. Logic Apps fits IT-governed integrations that need source control, deployment pipelines and higher volumes. Many companies use both, and we help decide which flow belongs where.
Is Azure Data Factory being replaced by Microsoft Fabric?
Azure Data Factory remains a supported Azure service. Microsoft Fabric includes its own Data Factory experience with pipelines and Dataflows Gen2. Companies moving to Fabric can bring pipeline patterns across, and we design new work with that option in mind.
Can you work within our Azure governance and security policies?
Yes. We deploy into your subscriptions using your landing zone, Azure Policy and naming standards, through infrastructure as code reviewed in your repository and your change process.
